Creative Play
In collaboration with community partners, local libraries and nurseries, I've endeavored to cultivate creativity among children aged 0-5 within communities through structured musical and play-based initiatives. My efforts are centered on the exploration of various educational concepts, including schema, storytelling, word exploration, and language development. These activities are meticulously designed to foster an environment conducive to the exploration of musical instruments and sounds, nurturing the cognitive and developmental growth of young children in an engaging and enriching.
Music in Primary Schools
I've collaborated with primary schools to offer a diverse range of engaging workshops, including drumming, music production, singing, and song writing. Additionally, I've worked with neuro- divergent young people who may face challenges in mainstream educational settings. I aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these individuals to explore their creativity, develop their ideas, and express themselves freely, fostering personal growth and empowerment.
Music in Secondary schools
In 2023 I collaborated with City of Derby Academy and the Freedom Foundation to deliver a 12 week programme called DRILL. The programme offered a structured framework for personal growth, creativity, and empowerment, providing young individuals with the tools and confidence to navigate life's challenges and pursue their dreams.
